No Site Notice was posted in the relevant works location and none of the affected local residents or landowners or elected local officials or the Planning Panel even knew that planning permission had been formally granted for the works to commence, or that works had already commenced.
It seems that we are no longer being given the opportunity to protest the desecration of our Countryside Zones because inadequate or false information can be provided by the developers and we are not alerted to what is actually being proposed beforehand.
No one from developers or government agencies made contact with affected residents and landowners and there was no consultation process.
None of the local officials of St. Brelade, or Planning Panel members knew planning approval had been granted by Senator Freddie Cohen (Planning Panel were effectively bypassed.)
- It is also strongly suspected that the public purse is being used to fund this project…without the public knowing!
